Study of Women’s Health Across the Nation
The study is co-sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research on Women’s Health, and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
The Million Women Study
The Million Women Study is an ongoing British study involving more than one million UK women aged 50 and over. The study aims to answer many outstanding questions about the factors affecting women’s health in this age group.
The main focus of the study relates to the effects of hormone replacement therapy use, but the large size of the study means that a very broad range of health issues can be addressed. We encourage you to browse the site for more information.
